Carlzon took three hours drive for a two day one-night trip to Cameron Highland and visits the various tourist attraction. He brings his wife and children together for a family trip during the weekend. For him, traveling is the best time for the adults and kids to create memories and have fun during the weekends or holidays. He chooses to go Cameron because Cameron is the few places that serve as a habitat for a variety of flora and the most important one is the cooling temperature over there.

Cameron Highland located in western of Pahang which is a fresh and verdant destination filled with myriad things to probe. From a huge tea plantations and vibrant flower field, to the baffling museums and a lively market, Cameron Highlands is the coolest place to add into your traveling list. Cameron Highland is a very amazing and beautiful place that fills with impressive views and experiences. Many beautiful views are located along the road from Kuala Terla to Ringlet that will give you an awesome impression.

“The very first place that I have a visit when I have to go across is the Parit Waterfall and It is located near to the Tanah Rata, Cameron highland and it is a very good spot for jungle trekking. In order to make my trip more exciting on the first day of traveling so I’m bringing my family to the Parit waterfall.” he said.

The Parit Waterfall is hidden inside a recreational nature park at Taman Sedia in Tanah Rata. Tourist needs to have a short walking distance from the town with the trail beside the Century Pines Resort. While the park has an excellent infrastructure which include the car parks, playgrounds, tiled footpaths, benches so that the tourist can discover the place easily. The visitor can explore the rainforest and enjoy the view of flora and fauna here with the jungle trails that lead around the vicinity. Besides, Parit Waterfall has the most photogenic spot that available for the tourist to capture the beautiful scenery of the surrounding. This waterfall is small and it’s gives a peaceful feeling, stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

BOH Tea plantation

If the stunning scenery and bumpy hills and mountains covered with lush leaf bedding are your tea cup, then it is a must for you to visit BOH Tea plantation. BOH Tea Plantation is one of the most famous area to visit in Cameron Highland and it is free of charge. BOH Tea plantation has a total of 8000 acres planted with tea which is the largest tea plantation in Southeast Asia. Besides being impressed by the views of tea plantation, the cafe nearby is also offering the tea tasting opportunities and have the chance to learn more about the local tea. The tourist can have a chance for the free guided factory tour on how the tea leaf to be processed and purchase the tea products from the souvenir store. Just stop your car aside for breathtaking and to have a view on the green rolling mountain.

The Night Market

During the night, the night market will be crowded with lots of people because it is a popular spot in Cameron Highland during the night to hunt for food and to purchase the souvenir starting in the early evening till late night. The Night Market is a tantalizing place that full with hawker stall food from the different culture that sells food and snack such as sweet potato balls, ‘Apam Balik’ and many more. Tourist can detriment for the colourful souvenirs and ornamental plants as well as various type of fresh vegetable and fruits at a cheaper price compare to other market. If you are good at the bargain, you can try to get the goods in a cheaper price.

“I bring my family along to the night market to buy some food for our dinner and it’s just amazing because they sell various kind of food at a reasonable price. For my children, they buy a lot of stuff such as key chain and so on. Give a try and you will get a nice experience go to the night market in the coolness.” he said.

Avant Chocolate Factory

Avant Chocolate factory is a shop that you should pay a visit. It’s a suitable place for relaxation and high tea. Here, sells various type of chocolate and dessert such as cakes, ice cream and even sweets. Then, behind of it, you can find a beautiful view of flower such as lavender where the tourist can take beautiful pictures. The first steps of your feet on the chocolate factory, you can smell scented of the lavender. There is a spot for kids to enjoy playing the floating boat while the adults can have their own time to attempt their food and beverages. The tourist can purchase the lavender perfume and goods that made of lavender.
