Drunk driver collides into tuition center

AMPANG: A woman gets a serious injury from a car collision caused by a driver.

Wong, a 47-year-old lady got injured when a car crashed into the tuition center in Ampang that she works in. She said that when she was working in the office that night, an Alphard suddenly broke through the glass wall and dashed into the office at high speed. She had been pushed by the car into the next room. Then, she fainted and had been found in the mess.

“The speed of the car was so fast that I thought I would have died. When I woke up from the coma, the pain from the bruises and cuts all over my body made me realize that I was not dead.” she said.

She was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment. The doctor said that her condition stabilized after she woke up from the coma but the heavy injuries on her backbones and leg required her to stay a few more weeks in the hospital for inward observation. The doctor advised her to stay in the hospital for a few weeks for further check-up. Her family accompanied her for the whole medical check-up because they were afraid that she might have other inner injuries or sequela after the accident.

She also explained that the accident happened because the driver was drunk. Therefore, the driver was not vigilant that he tapped too much of oil while reversing his car.

“I’m really grateful that I’m still alive because not everyone in this world can be so lucky in this kind of accident.” she said.

She currently continues her admin work. She also said that she will cherish the people she loves because she does not want to have any regrets in her life. Besides, she advises the public not to drink before driving because it might cause others to lose the person they love.
