Film Reflection: 'The Joneses 2009'

The Joneses is about a team of stealth marketers which are the professional salesperson who disguises the company product placement as the daily routine. Through clothing, interior design, housing supplies and food catering are well planned by the company to create the interest and desire in the consumer. It reflects a different perspective on the process of publicity and minor marketing strategy that would be applied to people’s daily life. They apply the technique which is to publicize and boost sales of the product by promoting their lifestyle appearance. They adapt the “ripple effect’ by hard sell the product to manipulate the mindset of the consumer. Expanding the markets and social circles from difference status to create publicity opportunity by understanding the demand of the consumer to achieve the sales target. Persuade the people to be the connector to reach a wider target audience on your behalf and communicate with the people to divert them as the long term consumer.
